Job description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Network Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Tier-1 support and extensive experience in virtualization, cloud-native technologies, VNF/CNF deployments, and network automation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking principles and a proven track record of developing and implementing Python-based automation solutions for deployment, configuration, and network management.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Python scripts for automating network deployment, configuration, and management tasks.
• Deploy and manage Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) and Cloud Native Functions (CNFs) in virtualized and cloud-native environments.
• Provide Tier-1 support for network infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
• Develop and maintain network automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and scalable network solutions.
• Document network automation processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in virtualization, cloud-native technologies, and network automation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of network infrastructure and automation processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in network engineering and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting for network automation. Extensive experience with virtualization and cloud-native technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes). · Proven experience in deploying and managing VNFs/CNFs. · Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching). · Experience with network automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Netmiko). · Proven Tier-1 support experience. · Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. · Strong communication and collaboration skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with specific network automation platforms or tools. · Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Networking). · Experience with CI/CD pipelines. · Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
