Job description:

We are looking for a Network Operations Engineer to support the maintenance, deployment, and lifecycle management of virtualized network functions in 4G and 5G environments. This role focuses on assisting with NFV architecture, cloud-based deployments, and network operations while working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support the maintenance of network functions for 4G and 5G technologies. Assist with tasks related to network function virtualization architecture.
• Apply configurations for virtual network functions.
• Contribute to network element upgrade processes.
• Contribute to network element upgrade processes.
• Assist with the lifecycle management of virtual network functions.
• Work on OpenStack HEAT Orchestration templates for deploying virtual machines in the cloud under the supervision of the team lead.
• Support troubleshooting network and system issues to improve knowledge and prevent future problems.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate operational and management systems and monitor network performance.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in CS, IT, Engg or related.
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States may be required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Basic analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
