Job description:

VOLTE and IMS and EPC and 4G and 5G (this is the mandatory experience) proficiency with Nokia Core systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, optimizing, and troubleshooting end-to-end solutions in a VoLTE/VoWiFi environment, ensuring seamless integration with the Nokia core network elements.

As a VOLTE engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality network services and ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VOLTE systems in a rapidly evolving 4G/5G network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate, configure, and deployment of VOLTE (Voice over LTE) solutions for both 4G and 5G networks, ensuring successful integration with Nokia core network systems.
• Provide expertise in Nokia IMS, Evolved Packet Core (EPC), and related core components for VoLTE services.
• Perform end-to-end troubleshooting and optimization for VOLTE, VoWiFi, and other voice-related services, ensuring high-quality voice call setups, handovers, and seamless connectivity.
• Collaborate with network engineering, operations, and support teams to resolve service-impacting issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimized performance.
• Conduct network performance analysis, including KPIs, to ensure optimal performance of VoLTE services, recommending improvements as necessary & VoerEir Tool experience
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in 4G/5G technologies, Nokia products, and industry best practices to provide forward-thinking solutions.
• Support the deployment of software patches, firmware upgrades, and configuration changes within the Nokia core network elements.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party suppliers to integrate new technology and troubleshoot complex issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field, or equivalent.
• Experience with VoLTE/IMS solutions in 4G/5G networks
• Experience with in Nokia Core network elements, including Nokia IMS, EPC, PCRF, SBC, and related technologies.
• Experience with 4G and 5G architecture, including integration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proven track record in end-to-end VoLTE implementation and troubleshooting in a live network environment.
• Familiarity with VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) solutions and integrations.
• Understanding of network protocols (e.g., SIP, DIAMETER, GTP, RADIUS) and troubleshooting tools.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, and other Nokia-related tools).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Basic analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
